For a second time, Nanolive invited researchers with an interest in 3D live cell imaging to submit a short research proposal to win a free 6-months loan of one of our 3D Cell Explorer microscopes.
We received many inspiring entries from all over the world and taking a final decision was not easy and we want to thank all researchers for allowing us to learn about the amazing science happening in their labs.
The winner was announced Monday evening at ASCB | EMBO 2018 during our symposium.
Björn Önfelt from the Science for Life Laboratory (SciLife Lab), Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, was awarded with a 6 months free loan of the 3D Cell Explorer for his study aimed to get new insights in immune cell cytotoxicity.
The Runner’s Up Prize (a 3 month’s loan for the United States offered by our partner Nexus Scientific) will go to Mikolaj Ogrodnik from the group of Prof. Diana Jurk at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, US) for his work in cell senescence.
Nanolive congratulates these two winners for their great research proposal and wishes all the best for their future research projects with the 3D Cell Explorer.
