Discover the world’s first 1-click assay for non-invasive, label-free mitochondrial analysis
Mitochondrial sensitivity is a double-edged sword, making mitochondria useful indicators of cellular responses to drugs, disease and aging. However, they are also easily damaged or perturbed by the chemical and fluorescence markers widely used to study them. Furthermore, these markers can lead to biases and inaccuracies in results, as well as limit imaging frequency and duration.
As such, Nanolive’s unique label-free imaging and analysis technology is ideal for the non-invasive study of dynamic mitochondrial responses, first demonstrated in Nature Communications in 2024, and now available as a single-click digital assay: Nanolive’s Smart Mitochondrial AssayLIVE.
Join us online for the launch of our groundbreaking new digital assay for mitochondria which builds on Nanolive’s expertise in developing easy-to-use, AI-powered analyses to analyze live, label-free holotomographic images.
We will demonstrate the ability to detect changes in mitochondrial morphology at the individual mitochondrion and network levels in response to drug treatment and phototoxicity, and highlight the importance of this approach across various research and biopharma applications such as drug safety and toxicology, mitochondrial disease, and oncology.
We will also share a first look at our new analysis environment which brings high-content live cell analysis to your fingertips. EVE Explorer quantifies cellular and organelle responses with an intuitive automated workflow, customizable plotting options, and seamless data management, enabling researchers to make data-driven decisions and focus on discovery.
This online launch event is of interest to those looking to:
- Use high content imaging to increase the predictive value of investigative toxicology assays for early identification of compounds with adverse effects
- Quantify dynamic phenotypic changes at mitochondrion, network, single-cell, subpopulation, or population levels
- Eliminate phototoxicity in mitochondria studies
- Visualize mitochondrial dynamics for extensive time periods at high imaging frequencies
- Perform multi-drug screening in parallel in 96 wells
- Streamline and consolidate workflows
- Combine label-free imaging with correlative fluorescence to observe key targets or separate cells into subpopulations for advanced analysis
Expected event duration: 30 minutes
