The Lab+ at the University of Conventry uses the 3D Cell Explorer for teaching undergrad cell biology students. The lab allows students to connect together different concepts and different parts of practicals in order to hopefully give them a real passion for science and science related jobs.
“I think it fits really well amongst everything that we do. The students can then begin on those fundamental skills and apply it to any number of projects that they are doing. Whether that’s microbiology, models organisms or cell culture; that opens up a big array of opportunities,” says Dr. Christopher Mee, Reader in Cell Biology, Conventry University.
