High-content, label-free immune cell analysis with the LIVE T Cell Assay

Nanolive is proud to have released the next-generation LIVE T Cell Assay on June 11.  This non-invasive, AI-driven solution empowers faster, data-driven decision-making in immunotherapy development. By delivering real-time insights into T cell activation, and target engagement and killing, the assay sets a new standard for dynamic, high-content immune cell profiling.

With the LIVE T Cell Assay, you can:

  • Capture dynamic T cell:target cell interactions and phenotypic changes in real-time, label-free
  • Streamline experimental workflows to reduce time, cost, and variability
  • Generate unbiased, reproducible data that increase confidence in drug discovery
  • Apply the assay to both liquid and solid tumor models for broader relevance across cancer types

Real-world applications in CAR-T research and beyond

Explore how Nanolive’s LIVE T Cell Assay is accelerating immuno-oncology breakthroughs by enabling real-time visualization and quantification of T cell activity and target cell responses, in a single click.

In our latest webinar, From Live Cells to Insights: Nanolive’s Next-Gen Immune Profiling Solution, we showcased how this innovative assay is being applied across multiple immunotherapy applications, including:

  • CAR-T efficacy

Narrow down the most potent CAR-T candidates for downstream in vivo testing through side-by-side performance comparison.

  • CAR-T specificity

Evaluate clone selectivity across different antigens; observe Activation-Induced Cell Death (AICD) to gain deeper functional insights.

  • Bispecific antibody function

Compare bispecific antibody candidates using real-time, quantitative metrics to assess functional performance.

Label-free imaging and automatic segmentation

Case study: Multiparametric insights from a single experiment. Label-free images were processed using the LIVE T Cell Assay. The images display digital overlays representing the activity and viability of the tested CAR-T cell clones. Multiparametric data can be extracted, including the percentage of active T cells, the lethal fraction of target cells, and more.

Monitoring CAR-NK & T cell synergy with Nanolive

In a recent Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer (JITC) publication, researchers used Nanolive’s 3D Explorer to visualize the real-time dynamics of 15×21 CAR-NK and T cells co-cultured with Raji lymphoma cells. The label-free imaging revealed that combining both cell types led to enhanced tumor killing compared to either alone. Nanolive’s technology enabled non-invasive monitoring of immune cell behavior, offering functional evidence of synergistic anti-tumor activity in a physiologically relevant environment.
